Fused silica is a material for making ceramic shells in investment casting manufacturing process.

This material has high chemical resistance, low thermal expansion and good thermal shock resistance. 

Main application is for molding compound,  precision castings, refractory.

Chemical content: SiO2 99.92-99.50%; Fe2O3 0.001-0.045%; Al2O30.020-0.050. 

Content depends on material grade.

Fused silica particle size upon request, available in sand and powder.
